CSI‑50 is a dual‑imager sky monitoring solution from ACERAIN. It combines the CSI‑50D for full‑color daytime imaging and the CSI‑50N for infrared, day‑night operation. Together, they provide continuous, high‑quality observations of sky conditions and cloud fields. The system is built on proven measurement, data transmission, and control technologies. It is reliable, easy to maintain, and simple to integrate with existing infrastructures.
The two imagers deliver complementary outputs. CSI‑50D provides full‑color daytime images, quantitative cloud cover (total, thick, thin), cloud classifications (ten cloud genera), and weather states (sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, overcast, rain). CSI‑50N measures sky temperature in the infrared and derives cloud maps, cloud‑base height, solar position, and regional sky temperature. Each imager offers a 180° field of view for single‑frame full‑sky coverage. The combined visible‑IR approach improves robustness under strong solar glare, low‑light, and nighttime conditions. Data access and configuration are available through their built‑in platforms, with standardized outputs for scientific research, photovoltaics, meteorology, and atmospheric studies.
